Two Ways To Tell If You Are Respected By Your Horse

#1  RESPECT

Do you have commitment from your horse?

If he runs off, refuses to put his heart into what you want him to do, there is no commitment.

No commitment= No respect

#2  ATTITUDE

What is his attitude toward change?

Does he stay soft and willing or does he become rebellious?

RESPECT is earned by getting your horse to move a foot with a willing attitude that, otherwise, he

did not intend to move.  The horse has then stepped into freedom!

RESPECT is earned with clear and consistent boundaries that allows freedom to be found between

you and the horse.  The comfort that comes to the horse, in that spot of freedom, causes the horse to

RESPECT you.
